At Taalthuis you can learn Dutch at different levels. You start with a Beginners Basic course with little to no knowledge of the Dutch language. After actively participating in a Beginners Basic course, you will reach A1 level.
In some cases, you can reach A2 in 1 course. Our Beginners Plus course is exclusively developed for au pairs and expats from Germany and South Africa. This course is at double the speed of a regular Beginners course. There are more grammatical topics. After actively participating in a Beginners Plus course, you will reach A2 level.
Once you have already taken a Beginner’s course at Taalthuis or elsewhere, and are at A1 level, you can take an Intermediate course. If you participate actively in an Intermediate course, you will reach A2 level.
