Taalthuis wants to make learning Dutch a fun experience! Our teaching team comprises more than 120 professionally trained, certified, and enthusiastic NT2 teachers who are carefully selected. They will make sure you are fully engaged at all times. Our teachers are always happy to teach their students exactly what they wish to learn.
Taalthuis Team
The Dutch language school Taalthuis was founded by Margreet van ‘t Haaff in 2006. Margreet studied Dutch language and literature at the University of Leiden. When she had finished her studies, for ten years, she worked as a communications expert in both business and education and as a Dutch teacher in high school.
Peggy is responsible for the financial administration and course administration;
Tess is responsible for marketing analysis, ICT, and course administration.
Leontine is the contact person for all Taalthuis teachers and teaches Dutch to children.
Esther is an NT2 teacher, responsible for the development of our course materials.
Claire is responsible for incompany courses and marketing.
Milou is responsible for our social media, newsletters, and course administration.
Since 2006, thousands of expats, international students, and au pairs have learned Dutch at Taalthuis. Taalthuis develops it’s own course material for Beginner and Intermediate levels. Taalthuis now has 7 lesson locations all over the Netherlands.
In March 2020, Taalthuis started online teaching. Taalthuis offers online courses at all levels starting at Beginners Basic A1 up to Advanced C1. If you want to improve your speaking, you can join an online conversational course.
