At Taalthuis you can follow courses at different levels both online and face-to-face in a classroom. We aim to make learning a fun experience! Founded in 2006 Taalthuis now is a well-known language institute in the Netherlands for higher educated students. With lesson locations in Amsterdam and five other cities in the Netherlands, Taalthuis makes it possible for expats, au pairs, and international students to learn Dutch all over the Netherlands.

All throughout this summer, you can learn Dutch at Taalthuis through our online courses. If you’re staying at home, you will have plenty of time to learn Dutch, so why not sign up to learn a new language this summer? And if you are travelling instead, you can still learn Dutch, as all you need is a laptop and Wi-Fi! Taalthuis offers 100 percent online courses supported by a teacher at most levels throughout the summer.

The self-study Beginners Basic Course (A0>A1) with grammar course is for anyone who has just started to learn Dutch. This online course is combined with an exercise book and a grammar book. The books will be send to your home address. You do the course at your own pace, as soon as you sign up you will keep access to the e-learning platform for 3 months.
The online self-study Dutch grammar (A1-A2) is for anyone who has followed a Dutch course and wants to become more confident in Dutch grammar.
Understanding the Dutch with the new Culture Course of Taalthuis. Are you ready to not only master the Dutch language but also delve into the heart of Dutch culture? Taalthuis is excited to unveil the latest offering – a dynamic and comprehensive self-study culture course designed to take you to the A2 proficiency level.
For children we have a children’s self-study course and books this course is meant for children in the age between 8 and 12 attending groups 5, 6, 7, and 8 who want to expand their knowledge of Dutch. This brush up course consists of 8 fun and meaningful lessons for children who wish to learn Dutch and communicate with confidence.
Taalthuis also offers Dutch courses for businesses on location. Our teachers are happy to travel to your company and deliver a course which allows you and your colleagues to learn Dutch in a way that suits your needs. We also offer the possibility for online courses. These courses can be organised at any time, even during lunch break!
